Beautiful grounds that create a relaxing atmosphere.
I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room-it was dusty and clearly needed a good cleaning before my arrival. There were also issues with the amenities. I found no toilet paper upon checking in, quite inconvenient. The breakfast offerings seemed lackluster, with limited options that didn't feel fresh or satisfying.

The room was large and beautiful, had essentials, like a shower and towels. The personnel was gentle and amiable, and the owner too. The hotel's location was great, not far from Austin, and restaurants & things to do. Tried some takeout specials at In-n-Out Burger, luckily it was at a short distance from the venue.

The host was friendly and provided excellent local recommendations. The cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was really good with a variety of delicious options that we thoroughly enjoyed.
The room was somewhat small, which might not be ideal for those needing more space.

The historical charm of the hotel is captivating, complemented by a tranquil environment that makes for a restful retreat. Breakfast with regional products was a good start to the day. While the indoor areas were well-maintained, the outside furniture seemed neglected, and the pool required some cleaning, detracting from the overall appeal. Lastly, the noise from the bar area was a concern during the night, although the room itself remained comfortable.

Lovely stay in a historic gem
We really enjoyed hanging out by the picnic area and taking in the vibe of the place. The hosts were super friendly, and we loved the pool for a refreshing dip. Just wish the furniture on the porch wasn't so dusty. It kinda put a damper on relaxing outside.
